Just had a few things I have been thinking about to share with you. Maybe they are a bit unrelated but hoping this all makes sense.
When this post is published, I should be having a heart catheter procedure to fix my irregular heartbeat or afib. I am glad things like this can be done. I know all will be well. Sometimes it’s easier to trust God when it’s something big. We have faith when doctors go messing around with our hearts but not so much when it’s just a sinus infection. God still cares whether it’s a little thing or a big thing. It could be we just forget to tell Him about all the little things too. Either way, we should be steadfast in our trust of God.
We always say, “Praise God,” when someone is healed or is found not to have a dreaded disease. Yes, those are awesome reasons to praise God. But shouldn’t we say, “Praise God,” even when the person isn’t healed? The more I think about it, the more I think we should. Although it’s not easy if someone isn’t healed. But then it would be God’s will. Maybe we need to have faith enough to be healed and faith enough not to be healed.
The one thing to know is that your faith in God should not be shaken whatever happens. Always have your close relationship with God.
Rejoice in the Lord always! In good and bad rejoice! In healing or not rejoice! Yes we should and will rejoice.
