About a month ago a bank had a great marketing strategy. The bank hid a ticket for $5000 somewhere near a trail. They posted the area map and gave out a clue. Everyone was out looking for it. I met several people on different trails doing the same thing I was: looking for the treasure.

So it began. I went out all I could on different trails in different parks just to look for the treasure. I went hiking and searching at least 4 times that first week. Then after a week the bank put out another clue. Every day, the bank would send out the message that it’s still out there.

I kept it up the second week too. I went searching sometimes in the same park but just another trail and sometimes a different park. And then finally, someone found the prize. And no, it wasn’t me. Disappointing, yes, a little. Did I get outside a lot more? Yes, I did. So the search had benefits for all.

I did gain a couple things from the search. I walked more and I found places I never would seen. I got the benefits of the marketing campaign. And that’s a good thing.

I went out seeking and searching for a great treasure, a great prize. I was confident I would find it and I kept on trying. That’s what God gives us. He gives us a treasure that each of us can have. All we have to do is seek Him. Jeremiah 29:13 tells us that we will find God when we seek Him with all our heart. God gives us the ability to find Him, to be with Him and all we have to do is look for Him!

Beautiful! Such a truth!

Hermosa Reflexión. Tal vez una sugerencia poner entre comillas el Texto Biblico de Jeremias 28:13 ya que la Fuente Verdadera es la Palabra de Dios.
